Enjoy a fully-staged performance of Puccini's “Madama Butterfly”. This opera, which tells the tragic story of a young geisha gives up everything for a brash American naval officer, will be sung in Italian with English supertitles, and presented with a 35-piece orchestra. The Conductor for this performance is Gregory Ortega and Stage Director is Linda Lehr. Featured soloists are: Cio-Cio-San (Madama Butterfly) - Megan Nielson & Christina Rohm Lt. Enjoy a fully staged performance of Verdi's tragedy 'La Traviata . The opera, which tells the story of a Violetta, who sacrifices her own happiness for the sake of her lover's family, will be sung in Italian with English supertitles, and presented with full orchestra accompaniment.

A shy bumpkin in love with a rich girl hopes that a magic elixir will make her fall in love with him. The fully-staged performances are Performed in Italian with English supertitles and full orchestra. The Conductor is Gregory Ortega, and Stage Director is Linda Lehr.

New Rochelle Opera, Weschester's longest running opera company, will present its first ever staged production of Giuseppe Verdi's IL TROVATORE from June 23-26, 2016 in the Frank J. Auriana Theatre at the Ursuline School, 1345 North Avenue, New Rochelle, NY. Company co-founder and artistic director Camille Coppola will direct the local premiere, with orchestra and chorus conducted by Gregory Ortega. The production will feature the use of English supertitles to translate the Italian text.
