Boston Children's Theatre Re-Mounts REFLECTIONS OF A ROCK LOBSTER, Now thru 3/17


Boston Children's Theatre (BCT) has announced the return of the critically acclaimed play REFLECTIONS OF A ROCK LOBSTER. Based on the autobiography by Aaron Fricke, and adapted by BCT Executive Artistic Director Burgess Clark for the stage, REFLECTIONS OF A ROCK LOBSTER is the true story of a gay teenager and his fight to defend his life and preserve his civil rights in the wake of bullying, prejudice and intolerance.

Zeitgeist Stage presents the original Wedekind play in a new adaptation. Spring Awakening, written in the 1890's, is Frank Wedekind's ground breaking play about adolescent sexuality that is the most censored play in theater history, not getting produced as originally written for 75 years. The show examines the lives of teenagers in provincial Germany as their sexual awakenings are repressed by the conservative society of their parents.
