Jio Mami 18th Annual Film Festival Introduces THE NEW MEDIUM


Jio MAMI 18th Mumbai Film Festival with Star introduces a programme this year called The New Medium. This section will feature the best in innovative filmmaking by scouring the living history of cinema - from its inception to the contemporary moment. The New Medium is formulated and programmed by artist, Shaina Anand who is co-founder of the artist studio CAMP, and the Indian Cinema Foundation. These films will be screened throughout the festival, between 20th to 27th October, 2016.

MUMBAI, NOVEMBER 6th, 2015 - India's biggest Film Festival Jio MAMI 17th Mumbai Film Festival with Star India, drew to a close on Thursday, 5th November, 2015 at the Taj Land's end, Bandra. World-renowned filmmakers, talent and Bollywood stars walked the red carpet to celebrate the end of Mumbai's very own film festival.

MUMBAI, 30th OCTOBER 2015: Hugely anticipated, Eros International and Hansal Mehta's 'Aligarh', opened the Jio MAMI 17th Mumbai Film Festival with Star India in a packed screening at Regal, Colaba tonight. This pivotal film marked the first time that a Hindi film opened the festival since 1997, the inaugural year of the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.
