Navy Pier and EXPO CHICAGO Welcome Ivan Navarro's 'This Land is Your Land'


Navy Pier, Chicago's iconic lakefront destination, has partnered with EXPO CHICAGO, the International Exposition of Modern & Contemporary Art (September 27 - 30, 2018), to present a free, temporary public art installation in Polk Bros Park. From Saturday, July 28, 2018 through April 30, 2019, guests will have the unique opportunity to view and interact with This Land is Your Land, a stunning three-piece installation resembling water towers, created by New York-based Chilean artist Ivan Navarro and curated by Paul Kasmin Gallery.

Hampton Theatre Company Presents JOY TO THE WORLD Holiday Readings


The Hampton Theatre Company in Quogue, now in its 32nd year, has added an additional production to the 2016-2017 season. For one weekend only, December 9 to 11, the HTC will present two festive evenings and one matinee performance of holiday stories by Arthur Conan Doyle, Isaac Bashevis Singer, O. Henry and other celebrated writers, read by members of the company.

The Ensemble-in-Residence program will engage the entire campus and the greater community in an exploration of music and other academic disciplines. The program will host the renowned string quartet ETHEL for the 2014-2015 academic year.

The Bay Lights Illuminate San Francisco Waterfront Tonight


Artist Leo Villareal is poised to transform the western span of the Bay Bridge into the largest LED light sculpture in the world. The Grand Lighting of The Bay Lights will happen tonight, March 5, at 9 pm PT. Virtually anywhere in San Francisco, the Marin hills or the East Bay with a clear view of the north side of the western span of the bridge will provide a spectacular vantage point for this historic moment.
