konverjdans, the Brooklyn-based contemporary ballet company founded and directed by Tiffany Mangulabnan (former principal dancer with the Philippine Ballet Theatre), Jordan Miller (formerly of the New York City Ballet), and Amy Saunder (formerly of Suzanne Farrell Ballet), three female dancers/choreographers, launches its third spring season with 'konverjdans: III', presenting three world premieres:

Besides ending May with the beginning of Smoke Jazz & Supper Club's month-long Miles Davis Birthday tribute, we start May headliners with Buster Williams 'Spanish Sun-Flamenco Rising' blending flamenco with jazz. Another new series at Smoke is our Wednesday new artist series, each week a different artist. Gregory Porter continues his Thursday residency at Smoke, and KJ Dennert starts the weekend off smoothly at our Saturday brunch shows. See details below.
