Birmingham Stage Company today announces the full cast for their production of Tom Gates, written by Liz Pichon. Neal Foster directs Matthew Chase (Tom Gates), Ashley Cousins (Marcus/Granny), Matthew Gordan (Derek/Grandad), Amy Hargreaves (Amy/Delia), Daniel Harkin (Mr Fullerman/Dad) and Alice Redmond (Mum). The production opens on 20 March with previews from 14 February, and tours until 30 November 2019.

Gangsta Granny, Birmingham Stage Company's production of David Walliams' bestselling children's book, has arrived in the West End following a long-running UK tour. Suitable for kids aged 5 and over, the show is a perfect antidote to cries of 'Grannies are boring!'.

Today, Walliams joined the cast - Gilly Tompkins as Granny, Ashley Cousins as Ben and Umar Malik as Raj - and director/adaptor Neal Foster for a launch event at a spot Gangsta Granny would no doubt have her eye on: Hatton Garden's Bedazzl Diamonds.
