CHAPTER TWO (NJ) - Pegasus Theatre Project

Seeking 2 men for Neil Simon's autobiographical romantic comedy, CHAPTER TWO. This is a non-union, paid ($200 stipend) job.

Chapter Two. Recent widower, writer George Schneider, is encouraged by his younger brother Leo to start dating again. After a series of bad matches, Leo discovers Jennie Malone. George, pushed by Leo, and Jennie, pushed by her best friend Faye, agree to a meeting and it's practically love at first sight. But can George close the chapter on his life with his first wife, and will Jennie be patient enough to wait and find out? Will these two lovers be able to start a new chapter of life together?

BREAKDOWN

George:
Male, age mid-30s to 50. George is a clever, witty, and charming novelist. Grieving over the loss of his beloved wife of 12 years when he falls in love with Jennie.

Leo:
Male, age mid-30s to late-40s. George’s younger brother. Leo is a press-agent who is a quick-witted, charming pragmatist. Married with children, but likes to fool around.

AUDITION INFO:
Auditions are scheduled for Monday, June 19, 7-10pm at the West Windsor Arts Center, 952 Alexander Rd., Princeton Junction, NJ. To sign up for an audition time slot and obtain audition materials, please visit: http://pegasustheatrenj.org/auditions

Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to audition.

PERFORMANCE DATES:
Performances are from September 15-24, 2017, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm. There are two mid-week matinees scheduled on Wednesday, September 20 at 10am and Thursday, September 21 at 1pm.

Rehearsals will begin the week of July 10.

All rehearsals and performances will be held at the West Windsor Arts Center in Princeton Junction, NJ.
