CAST BREAKDOWN
Diversity welcomed and encouraged for all roles.

AMY REED: Mid-20s, full of ideas. Caring. Overly-organized.

MARY BEE: 30s, creative, crafty, the “artist.”

KAY KAPPLER: 40s-50s, the arbiter of defining anything that might be “going off the true meaning of Christmas” track.

PATTY ANDREWS: 30s-40s, the community “star.” She has had the featured role in every show since high school (with a brief hiatus in her 20s touring as a pageant coach).

RODNEY “SLAM” MASSEY: Age 17, basketball player, very intelligent and well-read, seems uninterested but actually doesn’t suffer fools.

GUS CAMPBELL: 50s-60s, retired fire chief, the “safety” expert. By-the-book. He is on the committee as a replacement for his wife, Millie, who was always the heart of the group.

MACK RAYBURN: Late 20s-30s, aspiring town councilman. He desires to be the watchdog for the community’s (and his) best interests. Owns a local clothing store, “Mack’s Rack.”

ABOUT CHRISTMAS BY COMMITTEE: A MUSICAL
The annual Citrus Village Christmas show is in a slump. With just the right amount of spunk and holiday know-how, newcomer Amy may just have what it takes to get things back on track. But first she must convince the town’s quirky Christmas committee – a surly band of misfits – that the season is more than just personal agendas and citrus-themed activities. In an original world premiere musical overflowing with song, dance and laughs, our holiday heroine must come to the rescue before it’s too late! Performances of Christmas By Committee: A Musical are Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2 & 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm,December 5– 21, 2014.
