Auditions will be held at the Manatee Performing Arts Center on June 7 & 8 for the first three shows of the Manatee Players’ 70th Anniversary 2015-16 season! Those shows are: CATS, directed by Dewayne Barrett with Phyllis Gessler Musical Director (performances: August 13-30), THE SECRET GARDEN, directed by Rick Kerby with Rick Bogner Musical Director (performances September 17-October 4) and the comedy THE BOYS NEXT DOOR, directed by Kelly Wynn Woodland (performances September 10-27).
Auditions are at 7 pm each evening. Those auditioning for the musicals should dress appropriately for dance auditions and have a song in their key prepared. An accompanist will be at the auditions or you may bring a track on cd. Those auditioning for the comedy will read from the script. The Manatee Performing Arts Center is located at 502 3rd Avenue West in downtown Bradenton.
