The Pear Theatre is seeking actors for a An Enemy of the People by Henrik Ibsen, version by Rebecca Lenkiewicz.
Stipend provided.
Dr Thomas Stockmann - Medical Officer at the Baths. Male, 40-60
Catherine Stockmann - His wife. Female, 35-50
Petra - Their daughter - a schoolteacher. Female, 20-30
Peter Stockmann - Thomas’s brother, Mayor, Chief Constable, Male 40-60
Morten Kiil - Master Tanner, Mrs Stockmann’s foster father, Male 50-70
Hovstad - Editor of The People’s Messenger, Male/Female, 40 - 70
Billing - An employee at The People’s Messenger, Male/Female, 35-50
Horster - A sea captain, Male/Female, 45 - 75
Aslaksen - A printer, Male/Female, 40 - 70
Townspeople - Present at a public meeting, 4 - 6 actors interacting with actors and audience, m/f
PREPARATION
Please prepare One Contemporary Dramatic Monologue no longer than 2 minutes.

First rehearsal is Sept 5 (Rehearsals Tues - Sun, Evenings & weekends). Tech Rehearsals begin Oct 14.
Preview Performance on October 19.
Production opens October 20, and runs 4 performances a week (Thursday-Saturday @ 8pm, & Sunday 2pm Matinees) and closes November 19.
