SEEKING THE FOLLOWING:
Seeking and strongly encouraging performers 18+, of all gender identities who can portray characters including, but not limited to, Black descent.

One winner will receive:
-Roundtrip airfare to Miami, FL to attend the American Black Film Festival June 15-18 2017
-4-night hotel stay in Miami
-SoBe Festival Pass to attend exclusive screening and Opening & Closing Night VIP Parties
-Scholarship to participate in the Tasha Smith’s Acting Workshop
-VIP access to the NBCUniversal Short Film Festival semi-finals in August in New York and the finale in October in Los Angeles (travel & hotel not included)
-Name announcement in the ABFF press release
-Introductions to NBCUniversal Casting Executives
-$1,000 Cash grant towards new headshots or acting classes

BRING: Current Headshot or Photo & Resume STAPLED BACK TO BACK.
PREPARE: Perform up to 2 Contemporary Monologues, each under 2 minutes in length, dramatic or contemporary in aa film or TV audition tone - NOT a theatrical stage audition. Due to time limits, actors will begin by only performing 1 monologue.

WARNING: In order to see as many talented actors as possible, you will be timed and stopped if exceeding 2 minutes. You may be asked to return and perform again later in the day.

NO WINNER IS ANNOUNCED THAT DAY, ONLY THE WINNER WILL BE NOTIFIED DIRECTLY OF THEIR PRIZE.
