2015 SUMMER PRODUCTIONS- AS YOU LIKE IT & HENRY IV, PART 1 - Baltimore Shakespeare Factory

Auditions for Baltimore Shakespeare Factory Summer Season 2015

Baltimore Shakespeare Factory will be holding auditions for two summer shows, As You Like It and Henry IV, Part One.

As You Like It will use a regular cast. Rehearsals will begin May 31 and most rehearsals will be held on Mondays (7-10), Wednesdays (7-10), and Saturdays (10-4). Performances will begin July 17 and run through Friday, August 14. There will be 8 shows in the Meadow of the Evergreen Museum and Library, two shows at the St. Mary's Outreach Center, and two shows at Boordy Vineyards.

Henry IV, Part One will consist of an entirely female cast. Rehearsals will begin June 14 and most rehearsals will be held on Tuesdays (7-10), Thursdays (7-10), and Saturdays (10-4). Performances will begin July 31 and run through Friday, August 28. There will be 8 shows in the Meadow of the Evergreen Museum and Library, two shows at the St. Mary's Outreach Center, and one show at Boordy Vineyards.

Actors interested in auditioning should contact Jenn Mikulski at knuffelbaer@gmail.com to schedule a time slot on ONE of the following dates:

Sunday, February 8 OR Monday, February 9. Audition times are 6 – 9 pm.

Call-backs will be held on Sunday, February 15 and Monday, February 16. Times for both call-back days are 6 – 9 pm.

Audition Information:
•The Baltimore Shakespeare Factory is a non-equity theatre troupe.
•Actors cast by the Baltimore Shakespeare Factory will be paid a stipend of $100.

•Actors DO NOT need to prepare a monologue.
•Actors will be auditioned in groups using scenes that will be prepared by BSF.
•Actors will be requested to sing a short selection of their own choosing – 15 seconds is enough (singing is optional).
•Actors who play musical instruments are asked to bring them and play a short piece of their own choosing – 15 seconds is enough (playing is optional).
