Innuendo - The Bad Twin has won the Best Narrative Feature Film Award at the Fine Arts Film Festival, arranged by the Venice Institute of Contemporary Art in Venice, California.

Next the film, shot in Australia and Finland and written, directed and produced by Saara Lamberg, who also stars in a leading role of two twin sisters, is going to travel to the Cannes Film Market in France, where the American distributor Blairwood Entertainment will launch the worldwide sales for the film.

Innuendo is a psychological thriller with darkly comical elements and stars Brendan Bacon (Spin Out, The Mule) in the role of Ben, the rough but charismatic chainsaw artist.

The festival director Juri Koll: "Innuendo is a film about art but the film itself is art. It's a very rare combination to find. I don't want to describe it because it is indescribable, there's nothing quite like it." The other competition judges included the art critic Peter Frank, production designer John Hodges, and artists Ilia Anossov, Dani Dodge and Barbara Kolo.
