Bill Dudley – Male, age 50-65. Professor of Military History at an Ivy
League University who was born into a blue-collar family and worked his way through a non-brand-name undergraduate education. Incredibly passionate about his subject and the teaching of it. Deservedly well-known and respected, one of the very top academics in his field. Truly loves mentoring students who have a love of history.
Jessica McGovern – Female, age 50-60. Dean of Faculty at an Ivy League
University. Driven and successful, but insecure about the stability of her
position and the career she’s worked so hard to build in a male-dominated field. Started her career as a Professor of Psychology until growing tired of teaching and making the shift to University Administration. Hopes to be President of a University one day. Oh... and she's married to Bill.
Ron Ellis – Male, age 28-32. African American. Teaching Assistant and
Ph.D candidate in Military History at an Ivy League University. Started less than 2 months ago. West Point graduate, former military officer and combat veteran in Iraq and Afghanistan. Passionate about military history, but has almost no understanding of the academic world or its politics. He is a ''by the book'' guy.
Megan Tyler – Female, age 18-19. Freshman at an Ivy League University
to which admission had been her life’s goal and purpose up to this point.
Born and raised into a well off family, graduated at the top of her class from a highly regarded private high school in the Northeast. Obsessed with garnering credentials and achievements so she can get into grad school.
