(40s)– A strong minded actress and first wife of playwright, HENRY and mother of DEBBIE. Jealous and unhappy, she dislikes HENRY’s play and her character within the play. She also considers HENRY’S lack of effort in their marriage the reason for their inevitable divorce.

(40s)- ANNIE’s first husband. He is genuinely likeable but insignificant as a man. He is faithful, affectionate, and simple. Upon finding out about his wife’s infidelity, he is distraught, overwhelmed with grief and has a hard time coping.

(mid-late 20s)- A young co-star of ANNIE’s with whom she is having an affair. He is enthusiastic and care free. Annie is primarily attracted to his youth, romantic tendencies, and how different he is from her husband.

(30s) An imprisoned, anti-intellectual vandal and amateur playwright. The antithesis of everything HENRY values. Arrogant like HENRY without the genuine skills to back it up.

(17-19)- HENRY & CHARLOTTE’S cynical teenage daughter. She is a bit of a rebel and fights against the institution of monogamy. She seems hard, but she genuinely cares about her parents and their relationships.

The following roles have been CAST:

HENRY- Ewan McGregor
