Breakdown
This is a SECOND company of a Spring tour.
ALL ACTORS MUST BE AVAILABLE TO AUDITION, REHEARSE, AND TRAVEL FROM NYC.
All actors are signs as Actor/ASMs. Actor/ASMs are required to unload/load, setup and/or strike the set. No single piece of scenery shall exceed such proportions of height or weight as to make it impossible to be carried reasonably by two members of the company. Possibility of Artist Activity on this contract.
All actors will need to sign an extraordinary risk rider if hired. Actors with stage combat experience a plus.
ALL ACTORS MUST SING. Seeking actors who are interesting, quirky, edgy, and current. This show is more “American Idiot” and less “Junie B. Jones”.

SEEKING the following roles:
PERCY JACKSON
18+ to play teens. Strong pop-rock tenor.
Looking for an actor who can believably play teens. Percy is a 12-year-old boy who finds out he is a demi-god. He is our story’s hero and must have a strong presence, a sense of humor, and be extremely likable. Percy is impulsive and moves with his instincts and emotions rather than his head. Think Daniel Radcliff, young Johnny Galecki, or Toby Maguire. Especially interested in actors with stage combat or gymnastic experience as this role is very physical. 5’6” – 5’9”
ANNABETH
18 + to play teens. Pop-rock high belter to E.
Looking for an actress who can believably play teens. Annabeth is smart and strong-willed but she is also incredibly brave and daring. One of Percy’s best friends, and eventual love interest, she joins forces with him to go on a quest to retrieve Zeus’ lightning bolt and save the world from peril. 5’2” – 5’6”
MR. BRUNNER
18+ to play 30’s.
Seeking a versatile character actor with a strong bari-tenor/tenor voice. Plays a variety of characters. Must have a great sense of humor and an adult presence. Think Chris Seiber, John Lithgow, or Pierce Brosnan. Please submit all ethnic and physical types. Also plays CHIRON, POSEIDON, MEDUSA, and others. 5’10” – 6’3”
CLARISSE/SALLY JACKSON
18+ soprano with high belt to E.
Seeking an excellent pop/rock singer/actor to play Percy’s loving mother and his tough-as-nails campmate, Clarisse. Extremely versatile actress. Also plays MRS. DODDS, a creepy substitute teacher and THE ORACLE. Please submit all ethnicities. 5’4” – 5’8”
GROVER
18+ folk/pop tenor.
A happy-go-lucky satyr. Think a goofy hippie kid. Percy Jackson’s best friend and protector. Seeking an actor with a great voice and strong comedic chops. 5’9” – 6’2”
LUKE
18+ pop/rock bari-tenor.
Seeking an extremely versatile actor to play LUKE, a camp counselor, son of Hermes, and the guy you wish was yo ur big brother. Cool and charismatic. Also plays GABE UGLANIO, Percy’s disgusting stepfather, and ARES, a tough biker gang leader who is the God of War, and various other characters. 5’6” – 5’10”
