Seeking
Trained Singers/Actors – Seeking versatile Equity and Non-Equity males and females with strong singing abilities in operatic and standard musical theater styles, in addition to strong acting capabilities.

Preparation
Prepare
• 16 - 32 bars of a legit musical theater ballad
• 16 - 32 bars of a classical art or opera/operetta piece
• Bring Head shot and resume

Please do not sing any songs from The Light in the Piazza; Accompanist provided.

Margaret Johnson
An elegant, self-possessed, practical and attractive American woman. Mid 40’s to early 50’s. Vocal Range: low A to high G.

Clara Johnson
Margaret's twenty-six-year-old daughter, young and naïve for her age. Vocal Range: low A to high A.

Fabrizio Naccarelli
A twenty-year-old, good-looking and charming Florentine. A romantic. Vocal Range: low B flat to high A. Sings/Speaks in Italian.

Giuseppe Naccarelli
Fabrizio's slightly older brother. Mid to late 20’s. A handsome lady’s man. Vocal Range: B flat to D. Sings/Speaks in Italian.

Franca Naccarelli
Guiseppe's wife. Strong, passionate and jealous. Vocal Range: low B flat to high B. Sings/Speaks in Italian.

Signor Naccarelli
Fabrizio's father. Very charming, charCatherine Hiatt - Character arcs from an ambitious, fresh-faced girl in a new relationship to a woman stunned by a betrayal and a divorce that she is only beginning to understand. Female, plays between 22-30 years old. Vocal range: F3 - D#5.

Signora Naccarelli
Fabrizio's mother. Cunning and intelligent. Mid 40’s to early 50’s. Vocal Range: low C sharp to high B. Sings/Speaks in Italian.

Roy Johnson
Margaret's husband. Late 40’s to early 50’s. A cold businessman. Will also double in the ensemble.
