PRIYA
early-mid 30’s, Indian-American. Her father was born in Calcutta, she was born and raised in Cleveland. With her marriage on the rocks, she returns to Cleveland to close up her father's restaurant after he dies. Perhaps a bit spoiled, she has been making decisions based on superficial things and is paying for that now.
VIJAY
mid-late 30’s,Indian-American. Her brother, tightly wound, recently unemployed stock brocker, estranged from his father, hasn't seen in sister in many years. Also born and raised in Cleveland.
BERNARD
mid 30’s, African-American. Good-hearted, naive, never quite recovered from a head injury, unlikely friend of Priya and Vijay's father.
