Breakdown
Seeking strong character types adept at physical comedy. Any ethnicity. Improv skills a plus.
Pantalone:
Male, 50’s-70’s. Comedic character type. The patriarch. A tightwad merchant scheming to get his daughter married. Has a big heart beneath his gruff exterior.
Truffaldino:
Male, any age. An uneducated but wily servant. A clown who is always looking to get more for less. Strong physical comedy skills a must.
Florindo:
Male, 20’s-30’s. A handsome braggart who fancies himself a hero.
Dr. Lombardi:
Male 50’s-70’s. A pompous, over-educated fool filled with self-importance. Father to Silvio.
Brighella:
Male or Female, 30’s-40’s. Character type. An innkeeper who is everyone’s confidante. Must have strong physical comedy skills.
