Breakdown
Seeking:
[GEORGE GIBBS] (Male, Late Teens-Early 20’s, Any Ethnicity) The upstanding son of Dr. and Mrs. Gibbs. He falls hard for his neighbor, Emily, and grows up before our eyes. Athletic, good natured, slightly awkward, but ready to grow into a man.
[DR. FRANK GIBBS] (Male, Late 40’s-Late 50’s, Any Ethnicity) The local doctor of Grover’s Corners. He is most comfortable when working or reading history. Dr. Gibbs finds social interactions uncomfortable. He is glib and sometimes dismissive of his wife’s concerns, but wonderfully loyal to his family.
[JULIA GIBBS] (Female, Late 40’s-Late 50’s, Any Ethnicity) George’s hard working mother. She yearns to travel and see the world. Her marriage has left her a bit lonely, and her work load continues to tax her. She is a good woman who yearned for more but makes the best of what she has. Mrs. Gibbs acts as a guide to Emily after Emily’s death.
