Synopsis: Lili, a lonely orphan, is enchanted with a traveling carnival troupe somewhere in the south of France. She finally gets to join the troupe and ends up working with the puppet act. Meanwhile, both the puppeteer, Paul, and the magician, Marco the Magnificent, have fallen in love with Lili. The two men compete for Lili’s affections – Marco in a bold/dramatic way and Paul in a guarded/shy way. In the end, Lili chooses Paul. (Paul was once a well-known dancer, but suffered a leg injury in World War II)

Synopsis: This musical comedy is based on Terence Rattigan's 1953 play The Sleeping Prince that had been staged in London with Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh, on Broadway with Michael Redgrave and Barbara Bel Geddes, and filmed as The Prince and the Showgirl with Olivier and Marilyn Monroe. The show tells the tale of an American chorus girl, Mary Morgan, wooed by a Balkan archduke, the Prince Regent of Carpathia, during the 1911 coronation of George V.
