Prepare 32-bars of a contemporary musical theatre or pop song that shows off your voice/range, appropriate to the role you are auditioning for. If asked, please have ready an additional 16-bars of a different song. Bring sheet music, accompanist provided. All must bring a hardcopy headshot/ resume.

A CINDERELLA CHRISTMAS
[BUTTONS] age 24-40 strong actor with a comedy flair, improv skills and physical comedy a plus. Warm, friendly, audience must love him. In love with Cinderella. Singing an advantage.
[CINDERELLA]age between 16-24 feisty, beautiful, vibrant, spirited. good acting ability. Must have a strong singing voice, and able to dance. (song example: Kelly Clarkson “Breakaway”, Celine Dion “Taking Chances”
[PRINCE]age 25-35, Tall (5’9 and taller), very handsome and sturdy, strong acting ability. Powerful singing voice, dancing an advantage. (song example Michael Bublé “Just Haven’t Met You Yet” )
[DANDINI]age 25-35 height under 5’9 good comedy actor. Full of personality with a good singing voice (maybe classically trained) high energy loves himself and wants to be the prince.
[WICKED STEPMOTHER] age 50 to 60 experienced actress, funny, and the audience loves to hate her. Cunning and clever and biting. Loathes Cinderella. Must sing.
[UGLY STEPSISTERS] *PLAYED BY MEN* 30- 50 specializing in acting and comedy. Funny, sinister and hate Cinderella. Lots of costume changes and lots of fun. You can attend the audition alone or with a working partner. Family show, so traditional actors please. (Think Edna in Hairspray)— Must Sing (Song example “California

[FAIRY GODMOTHER] age 30-50 magical, quirky, big personality, genuine. Strong singing, preferably big belt/ R&B. (Song style: Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston)
SLEEPING BEAUTY AND HER WINTER KNIGHT
[PRINCESS AURORA] FEMALE, 18-28, feisty and beautiful but innocent, good acting ability, strong singer and dancing ability. (Song example: “Domino”)
[PRINCE PHILIP] MALE, 18-35 Height 5’10 - 6’3’’. Powerful singing voice and great
actor, comedic ability. Great dancer. (Song example: “Footloose”)
[NANNY TICKLE] MALE, 35-55, strong actor, strong singer, Nanny to Aurora, mother
figure to everyone including the audience who are her children. Think Edna Turnblad from Hairspray. Southern Accent.
[SILLY BILLY] MALE, 25-55 strong comedic actor with improv skills. Able to play
self deprecating, Aurora’s personal bodyguard but is affectionately known as useless. He drives the play and must make the audience love him as he interacts and breaks the 4th wall through out. Must have previous comedy experience. No singing necessary but an advantage.
[KING OF PASADENA] MALE, aged 50-65, experienced mature actor that loves to play a character part. Warm and friendly but must be obeyed. Comedy is essential
[GOOD FAIRY] FEMALE, 30-60 leader of the seven fairies, strong acting ability and
powerful, show stopping singing voice. Helps SILLY BILLY become the hero. (Song example “Hero”)
[CARABOSSE] FEMALE, 30-60 extremely evil fairy, who hates the Kingdom and
Aurora. Gets boo’d by the audience through out but must be able to control them. Interacts with the audience, strong actor and powerful singing is a must.
A SNOW WHITE CHRISTMAS
[HERMAN THE HUNTSMAN]Age 25-40 Height 5’10, strong man, big muscles. American Gladiator style. Great actor. Protective of Snow White. Singing a bonus.
[THE PRINCE]Age 25-35; Height 5'9-6'2 very handsome and sturdy, strong acting ability. Powerful singing voice, dancing an advantage, strong comedic abilities (think James Marsden in ENCHANTED). Song example “Power of Love”)
[SNOW WHITE]Age between 16-24 Feisty, beautiful, vibrant, spirited. Good acting ability. Must have a strong singing voice and able to dance. Musical theatre background is helpful. (song example, Katy Perry “Firework”)
[MUDDLES]Age 24-40; Strong actor with comedy flair, warm friendly, audience must love him, drives the show, able to interact with audience, in love with Snow White, singing an advantage, must have previous comedy/improv experience.
[WICKED QUEEN]Age 40-60, strong overbearing and in love with herself. Must be a strong actress, dynamic on stage and able to control the audience with her. Singing a plus
