SEEKING

Female identifying dancers/singers for the upcoming production of HONEYMOON IN VEGAS. Please see breakdown for more information.



PREPARATION

Please be warmed up and ready to dance. Male-identifying dancers should bring knee pads, female identifying dancers should bring character shoes. Bring an updated H/R or comp sheet, a 16 to 32 bar song in the style of the show with music in your key, and your book in case the team needs to hear more

BREAKDOWN

JACK SINGER
30-39. Any ethnicity. Funny and winning character, leading male identifying role. Strong high baritone to high A. Heavy singing track. Should be able to move well and have great physical comedy agility.

BETSY:
30-39. Any ethnicity. Female identifying. A school teacher in NYC with great patience and understanding. Very strong soprano belt. Jason Robert Brown type of voice. Low F to belted high E. Heavy singing role.

TOMMY KORMAN:
50-59. Any ethnicity. Male identifying. Professional gambler and hopeless romantic. Authoritative Baritone. Suave. Seductive Jazzy. Sinatra swing. Major vocal track.

JOHNNY SANDWICH:
Tommy’s Aide-de-camp. 50-59. Any ethnicity. Male identifying. Intensely loyal. Often says wrong thing at wrong time. Character singing (minimal).

BEA SINGER:
50-59. Any ethnicity. Female identifying. Jack’s Mother. Her ability to provoke guilt is massive.
Low G# to belted E.

BUDDY ROCKY/ROY BACON
Any ethnicity. Male identifying. Two sides of a very shiny coin. Buddy is a Vegas lounge singer. Roy is a shit-kicker leader of the FLYING ELVISES. Big baritone with fantastic top notes. Needs to do an amazing Vegas crooner ala Steve Lawrence. Embodiment of Elvis (later life Elvis) in Act II.

MAHI / Ensemble in Act I.
A charming and sexy female identifying Asian / Polynesian. Strong belt. Good mover.

ENSEMBLE:
Ensemble needs to have a lot of fun character. Any ethnicity. 6 additional male identifying performers and 5 additional female identifying performers to include 6 strong dancers (two of which are showgirls).
