All rehearsals and performances are in Norwalk, CT - one hour on Metro North from Grand Central station. NYC actors commute daily and travel is paid by the theatre.

Seeking:

Daisy Werthan
Southern Jewish widow, ages from 72 to 97, independent, stubborn, bossy but great sense of humor

Hoke Coleburn
African-American, ages from 60-85, patient, warm, tolerant of Daisy’s prejudices but not afraid to respectfully speak up to her

Boolie Werthan
Daisy’s son, ages from 40-65, successful businessman, becomes progressively more conscious of how society perceives him, somewhat insensitive to his Mother’s feelings
