SEEKING
Young actresses for the role of ANNIE only.
ANNIE:
Female, 8+ to play 11 years old. 4’10” or less. Spunky, friendly, big voice. Must have an excellent and accurate singing range, great comedic timing, and be a good mover. A tough streetwise kid who is vulnerable when she thinks she might lose what has become most important to her: a newfound ‘family’ that loves her. Throughout the show she shows independent, needy, maternal, and hopeful qualities. Although she is at times aggressive or crafty, there is no doubt that Annie is a friendly and caring child.
