On June 24th and 25th at 2:30 pm at The Gary The Olivia Theater, 249 Flanders Rd Bethlehem, CT, Clay & Wattles Theater Company is pleased to present “The magical world of Tomie dePaola,” an afternoon with the celebrated children’s book author and illustrator and recipient of the prestigious Laura Ingalls Wilder Award, Caldecott Honor, and the Newbery Honor. Tomie dePaola and Mother Dolores Hart OSB, former film and stage actress, will narrate several of his popular stories and will be joined on stage by actors and special guests to act out the drama rich tales. Purchase of Tomie’s books organized by Barnes & Noble of Waterbury and book signings will be available after the performance on both days. Don’t miss the world renowned author, illustrator and creator of Strega Nona, Big Anthony and many other colorful characters that touch the hearts of young and old!
