This farce with an X-Rated vocabulary focuses on Lee, a tabloid journalist, who attends the awards to interview his old friend Mandrew, now an adult film star. Meanwhile, Lee’s fiancee Sara seeks relationship advice from Mandrew’s wife Peeps. When the night takes an unexpected turn and relationships are threatened, adult film stars Chuck Wood and Sundown step in to lend a hand.

March 30, 2022On Monday March 28th, Short North Stage hosted a fundraiser event featuring Broadway performers Jelani Remy (Ain't Too Proud, Lion King) and Thayne Jasperon (Hamilton, Newsies). Patrons enjoyed an evening full of entertainment with special guests Thom Christopher Warren, Lisa Glover, accompanist Jonathan Collura, and the cast of Little Shop of Horrors. Patrons that purchased a VIP ticket were also treated to a pre and post event reception. This was a one night only event! Don't miss Little Shop of Horrors running now through April 15. Short North Stage is a professional theater company dedicated to bringing first-class live performance to the Short North Arts District. Residing in a distinctive performing arts venue, the historic Garden Theater, Short North Stage hosts and produces performances weekly, ranging from Broadway classics and edgy off-Broadway musicals, comedies and dramas to cabarets, dance and everything in between. With three performance venues within the Garden Theater, including the original main auditorium, the intimate Green Room, and Ethel's Stage Left Lounge, each show brings a truly unique experience. Our goal is to grow into a regional, and eventually, national showcase of music-driven works – celebrating familiar, reinventing less well-known, and nurturing new works. With the dynamics of the Short North moving uptown and The Ohio State University sphere of influence spreading south, the blocks bridging the two districts are ripe for revitalization. Short North Stage is helping lead the metamorphosis.
