Institutional Marketing Manager - Two River Theater

Job Description



This position creates strategy driven marketing plans for Two River Theater’s institutional programs and revenue generators including, but not limited to subscription sales, group sales, venue rentals, education programs and fundraising campaigns and events. This is a full-time position within the marketing department, and reports to Two River Theater’s Director of Marketing.

We are proud to be viewed as a vital cultural resource in the community of Red Bank, New Jersey. Through 10 theatrical productions each year (including world premieres, musicals, classics and theater for young audiences) and 50+ annual events happening around Monmouth County, we work hard to produce exceptional theater and cultivate engaged audiences. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:



1. Candidate will create strategy driven marketing plans that will enable the institution to meet or exceed sales goals in the following areas:

o Subscriptions

o Group Sales

o Summer Theater Camp

o Monthly Master Classes

o Venue Rentals



1A. Marketing Plan umbrella duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

o Direct Mail Campaigns: Oversee content creation, design, printing and mailing.

o Digital Marketing Campaigns: Lead strategy for digital marketing campaigns. Provide content and campaign lists to Multi-Media Manager for use in email, Facebook and on website.

o In-House Efforts: Lead strategy for in-house campaigns. Provide content and campaign lists to box officers, education and fundraising staff members for in-house telemarketing.

o Receptions and Events:Plan, execute and host special events to increase loyalty among lapsed, current and potential patrons.

o Press:Coordinate campaigns with Two River’s PR representatives to gain coverage for each institutional program.



2. Candidate will create strategy driven marketing plans to support the development department’s fundraising campaigns and events. The development team will implement plans based on strategy and content suggestions.



3. Candidate will work with marketing, box office, education and development teams to implement all institutional campaigns.



4. Candidate will monitor sales of all institutional campaigns, analyze trends and take initiative to call team brainstorm meetings when needed.



5. Other duties as assigned.





Qualifications:



· 2 plus years of experience in Arts Marketing and a love for theater.



· Familiarity with analyzing sales trends and data



· Highly creative and strategic thinker with a proven track record in creating and executing campaigns that generate sales and maximize return on investment.



· Should exhibit a high degree of organization, attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.



· Positive can-do attitude; ability to lead a project from conception to completion with no task being too large or small to accomplish.



· Possess exceptional oral and written communication skills; must be able to write compelling and succinct marketing language as well as formal letters.



· Outgoing personality and comfortable with public speaking; ability to represent the theater at events and conferences.



· Capacity to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment.



· Ability to work on selected weekday and weekend evenings required.





Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits package includes medical and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, paid vacation, personal time and a 403 (b) retirement plan.
