Isn't it funny how snippets of songs come to mind when we hear a certain phrase or subject? There's a Song for That!, Central City Opera's newest ensemble concert, explores this phenomenon with songs by George Gershwin and Cole Porter; scenes from Gilbert & Sullivan's comic masterpieces The Mikado and The Pirates of Penzance, and a host of other Broadway and Opera favorites. You don't want to miss four splendid singers performing silly, sad or salacious songs for all occasions, with a masterful musician at the piano.
