The reinvented, second-season of MTV's "World of Jenks" premiered last night as the #1 series in its timeslot across all television among MTV's core demographic of 12-34 year-olds. The show garnered an impressive 1.2 P12-34 rating, and 1.2 million total viewers tuned in to watch award-winning documentary filmmaker Andrew Jenks go inside the lives of three extraordinary and inspiring young people. The season two debut performed strongly with the female audience, garnering a 1.6 W12-34 rating, which made it the highest rated "World of Jenks" episode to date with this demographic during the show's regularly scheduled timeslot. The show also ranked as the #1 telecast in its timeslot across all television with W12-34.

On the social media front, "World of Jenks" and "Andrew Jenks" both trended worldwide on Twitter last night, with a total 24,500 tweets throughout the day. Additionally, according to SocialGuide, the show ranked as the most social television series during the 11:00 p.m. hour, and ranked as the fifth most social cable series for the day.

Next week on "World of Jenks," Chad is off to senior prom, D-Real is hosting his first dance battle and Kaylin receives scan results, giving everyone reason to celebrate. Meanwhile, Jenks spends time with his younger brother Matt, making him grateful for the rare opportunity to be with his brother.

Over 10, hour-long episodes, Andrew Jenks follows the lives of D-Real, Chad and Kaylin, and along the way, give viewers a raw look at their struggles to overcome the constant threat of gun violence, the challenges of living with autism, and battling the fear of cancer returning at such a young age.
