On yesterday's THE TALK, Ellen Page discussed working with songwriter Linda Perry and singer Miley Cyrus on the song "Hands of Love" from her new film "Freeheld." Page says, "I just feel so fortunate that [Linda] saw the film and was moved by it, and wrote this song that is so so stunning. And then we really wanted Miley, who's been doing such amazing work for the LGBT community, and they just did an unbelievable job ."

Later, Page discusses her decision to come out last year, and how she was influenced by her working on her new film, FREEHELD.

She explains: "When the film first came up when I was 21, I was quite a closeted person, shall we say and it it really was kinda amazing how my own story correlated and paralleled with the development of this film. There really are people like Laurel and Stacie that inspire you, they inspire you to do the right thing for yourself, to be a happier person, and to be a visible person for the community."
