VH1 to Honor Iconic Artist Prince with Special Weekend Programming

VH1 announced today the on-air plans to pay tribute to the late mega-star, Prince. Beginning today at 5:30 PM ET, Prince's iconic movie, "Purple Rain," will kick of a weekend long marathon. Immediately following the first airing of "Purple Rain," the network will air a block of his most memorable music videos. Throughout the following days, VH1's Sway will host news updates with artists' memories and fan reactions.

Friday, April 22:
12:00 PM ET/PT - "Purple Rain"
10:30P PM ET/PT - "Purple Rain"

Saturday, April 23:
9:00 AM ET/PT- "Purple Rain"

Sunday, April 24:
