Tony nominee Geneva Carr is one of many Broadway veterans trading the stage for the screen next television season.

According to Deadline, the former HAND TO GOD star has landed a role in CBS' upcoming pilot BULL, written by Dr. Phil McGraw and Paul Attanasio.

The project "is based on popular daytime talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw's early days as head of one of the most prolific trial consulting services of all time."

Carr will take on the part of "Marissa, a psychologist, neurolinguistics expert and licensed sex therapist working on Dr. Bull's team."

The role of Dr. Bull has yet to be cast.

Carr's previous TV credits include DEADBEAT, YOUNGER, THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA, ROYAL PAINS, ELEMENTARY, BLUE BLOODS, PERSON OF INTEREST, RESCUE ME, THE ONION NEWS NETWORK, THE GOOD WIFE, LAW & ORDER: SVU, LAW & ORDER: CI and more.
