According to TVGuide.com, The CW network has ordered new drama pilots from J.J. Abrams, Mark Harmon, Mark Schwahn and Kim and Eric Tannenbaum.

Abrams and Bryan Burk are behind the upcoming pilot 'Shelter' to be penned by Schwahn. The story will take place in a quaint New England summer retreat where staff and vacationers become involved in friendships and romances.

Harmon will join The Tannenbaums for a series based on the Israeli show 'Danny Hollywood'. It is a time-travel musical about a documentary filmmaker who returns to the 1990's.

The CW has also picked up 'The Selection' based on the book series by author Kiera Cass. It is set 300 years into the future and tells the romantic story of a young woman who competes to become the next queen of her nation.
