THE TALK to Serve Up Month-Long Food Fest in July

The Talk kicks off July with "THE TALK Food Festival" series, a month-long summer cooking celebration featuring seasonal recipes from celebrity chefs. Throughout the month, chefs including Rocco Dispirito, Curtis Stone, Cat Cora, Anne Burrell, Pat Neely, Rick Bayless, Lidia Bastianich and Jessica Collins (THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS) will join The Talk co-hosts in the kitchen and share some of their favorite culinary creations from 2:00-3:00 PM, ET; 1:00-2:00 PM, PT/CT, on the CBS Television Network.

CBS's THE TALK, daytime television's fastest-growing network talk show, recently received three Daytime Emmy Awards, and was nominated for Outstanding Talk Show-Entertainment. The Talk features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities who examine current events, pop culture, contemporary issues, family, celebrity and the trending topics of the day. The daily one-hour series is co-hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood. The hosts swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes. Show segments include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, musical performances, how-to demos and appearances from extraordinary people with stories that engage and inform. The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer.

Recently, CBS led all networks with a combined 21 wins at "The 40th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards." CBS Daytime has been #1 in the daypart for 27 consecutive years, featuring a lineup that is a balance of dramas, game shows and talk. The Network's daytime lineup includes television's #1 daytime program and longest-running game show THE PRICE IS RIGHT, the #1 daytime drama THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, as well as THE TALK, The Bold and the Beautiful and LET'S MAKE A DEAL.
