From 8-10 p.m. ET, the finale of "The Sing-Off" (1.3/4 in adults 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) tied for #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and is #1 outright among those networks in total viewers. Note that results for ABC and CBS, which tied "Sing-Off" in 18-49 and 25-54, may currently be inflated by local NFL coverage.

"The Sing-Off" is up 8% in 18-49 versus its prior telecast last Thursday (which also had an 8 p.m. start time) and is up 16% in total viewers (5.192 million vs. 4.479 million) versus that previous episode on Thursday.

At 10 p.m., a special holiday edition of "Hollywood Game Night" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall) ranks #2 in the slot among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, behind only ABC, which is currently boosted by local NFL coverage in the Atlanta market.


In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.6/6 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.8/4 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/4 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/5 in metered-market households with an encore telecast) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2 with an encore).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


For the Week:

NBC has won the Primetime ratings week of Dec. 16-22, with "Sunday Night Football" and the Tuesday and Monday editions of "The Voice" ranking #1, 2 and 3 among Primetime telecasts on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49.

NBC has now finished #1 or tied for #1 eight weeks in a row and during 12 of 13 weeks so far this season, finishing #2 only once during a week in which FOX carried World Series coverage on four of seven nights. In addition to winning last week in adults 18-49, NBC also led the Big 4 networks in every other key demographic.

"Sunday Night Football" ranked #1 for the week among Primetime programs on the Big 4 in adults 18-49, with Tuesday's "Voice" finale #2 and Monday's "Voice" #3 (rankings exclude sports pre- and post-game shows). Other top series for NBC last week were: Monday's "The Sing-Off" and Tuesday's "The Biggest Loser" (tied for #12), Thursday's "Saturday Night Live Christmas" encore (tied for #17) and Wednesday's "Sing-Off" (tied for #23).

"Sunday Night Football" and the "Voice" finale combined to rank #1 among Primetime shows on the Big 4 in every key demographic - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 - plus kids 2-11 and teens 12-17 (in teens, "SNF" and "The Voice" tied for #1).

Through 13 weeks of the new season, NBC ranks #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49 and is also #1 in every other key demo - adults, men and women 18-34; men and women 18-49; and adults, men and women 25-54.

NBC leads the season by 0.4 of a rating point (with a 3.1 vs. second-place CBS's 2.7), matching the biggest margin for any network 13 weeks into the season in 11 years (since NBC led by 0.7 of a point in 2002).

In total viewers, NBC ranks #2 for the season with an average of 9.9 million viewers, which is its biggest overall audience 13 weeks into the season in seven years (since 2006, 10.3 million). Versus one year ago, NBC is up 12% season to date in total viewers (9.9 million vs. 8.8 million).
