Is everyone's favorite 'modern Stone Age family' heading back to the small screen? According to Digitalspy.com, Anthony Lukom, managing director of Turner UK and Ireland, has revealed that he would like to bring several animated TV classics back to TV, including Hanna-Barbera's 'Honeymooners' take-off The Flintstones.

"We've got the rights to 100s of 1,000s of characters from Hanna-Barbera, Warner Bros, MGM and DC, but we don't have all the ideas," offers Lukom. "If you've got a great idea for how to reinterpret one of our characters, come and talk to us."

The TV exec also issued an "open invitation" to producers, citing the cartoon 'Adventure Time' as an example of the kind of animation he would like to see on TV. "Kids like to be challenged," he explained. "They like the fact that it's something different. It's sophisticated humor that's clever, not just a succession of fart gags. We want comedy that's narrative-driven with strong characters."

In 2011, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane had announced plans to bring The Flintstones series back to TV. The project was ultimately delayed indefinitely due to his busy schedule.
