Ryan Murphy Reveals AMERICAN HORROR STORY: 'Murder House'/'Coven' Crossover Season!

AMERICAN HORROR STORY creator Ryan Murphy spoke at EW's Popfest yesterday and revealed that he is planning a crossover season involving the franchise's first season, "Murder House" and third season, "Coven."

Confirmed Murphy, "There will be characters from 'Murder House' and characters from 'Coven' together... I've [already] started going to actors from both of the seasons, quietly, saying, 'I think in this window, if you could fit us in'. So yeah, it's fun. It's weird."

He went on to share that the crossover will not take place next season, which has already been ordered by FX. However, fans of both previous seasons may look forward to seeing some of their favorite actors reprise their characters, including Dylan McDermott, Kate Mara, Alexandra Breckenridge, Zachary Quinto, Gabourey Sidibe, Jessica Lange and Sarah Paulson.

Season six of AMERICAN HORROR STORY, subtitled 'Roanoke' is currently airing on FX. Watch the interview below:
