Rosemary Harris to Guest Star on 'Law & Order: SVU'

RoseMary Harris will guest star on 'Law & Order: SVU,' Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello reports.

Harris's character will be involved in a murder investigation. The episode will also feature David Krumholtz as an expert on mushrooms, Ausiello reports.

RoseMary Harris won a Tony award for her performance as Eleanor of Aquitaine in the original Broadway production of THE LION IN WINTER. Her many other Broadway credits include two productions of THE ROYAL FAMILY, OLD TIMES, PACK OF LIES, A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, A DELICATE BALANCE, HAY FEVER, HEARTBREAK HOUSE, THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, WAR AND PEACE, YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, and TROILUS AND CRESSIDA. On screen, she has appeared in 'Notorious Woman,' for which she received an Emmy Award, and 'Holocaust,' for which she received a Golden Globe Award, as well as 'Death of a Salesman,' 'Hamlet,' 'Before the Devil Knows You're Dead,' and the 'Spider-Man' films.

The twelfth season of 'Law & Order: SVU' will premiere on September 22 at 9pm on NBC.
