Actress Pat Patterson steps into the present day for an episode of ABC's new time traveling drama, TIME AFTER TIME, airing on March 19, 2017.

Based on the 1979 novel and movie, TIME AFTER TIME follows famed Science fiction writer H.G. Wells (Freddie Stroma), who is transported to modern-day Manhattan in pursuit of Jack the Ripper (Josh Bowman). Patterson joins the storyline in present day Manhattan for the fourth episode, titled "Secrets Stolen," delivering a bit of sass as the landlady 'Sylvia'.

Patterson was thrilled at the opportunity to be part of creator Kevin Williamson's newest series, adding "After an audition with rather straightforward and serious material, I was given for the shoot a somewhat comedic scene. When I asked the writers Sanford Olden and Karen Wyscarver, why? They responded 'you're funny'. How they ever got that out of my audition I do not know. They were also open to 'correction'. The copy said my grandfather came over after WWII; however, a woman my character's age (which is my own) would have had her father in WWII, which was the joke."

Patterson has been building a solid reputation and earning awards for her work as an actress and producer. Under her Pâté Productions banner, she produced and appeared in the feature film Junction, winner of 17 major festival awards and selected by IndieWIRE as a 'Top 5 Best First Feature Films'. On-camera, Patterson has appeared in numerous indie films, most notably the psychological horror feature A Cry From Within, starring Academy Award nominees Cathy Moriarty and Eric Roberts. She has several network TV stints under her belt, including roles on NBC's The Blacklist, TV Land's Younger and ID's Blood Relatives.

This full-time working actress has been active in theater community on both coasts, from New York's Off-Broadway to Theatre Row in Los Angeles. Patterson served as Secretary of the Board at T. Schreiber Studios, spearheading the studio's first year long conservatory; and as a Board Member of the prestigious Blank Theatre Company, founded by Noah Wylie. She is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts; and studied at HB Studio with some of the greats, including Uta Hagen and Earle Hyman.

Currently, Patterson is in-development on the television series, The Mustard Seed, in which a woman devastated by the loss of her husband, son and his family, struggles to heal and unexpectedly discovers a separate spiritual dimension.
