New CBS Comedy THE ODD COUPLE Grows Week-to-Week

CBS notched across-the-board growth from its entire 8:00-10:00 PM comedy block as THE BIG BANG THEORY, THE ODD COUPLE and MOM all improved upon last week's ratings, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Thursday, March 5.

At 8:00 PM, THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in viewers (17.88m), adults 25-54 (6.4/18) and adults 18-49 (4.7/16). Compared to last week, THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +4% in adults 18-49 (from 4.5/16), +3% in adults 25-54 (from 6.2/18) and added +1.21m viewers (from 16.67m, +7%). THE BIG BANG THEORY was the night's top program in all key measures.

At 8:30 PM, THE ODD COUPLE was first in viewers (12.47m), adults 25-54 (4.3/11) and adults 18-49 (3.0/09). Compared to last week, THE ODD COUPLE was up +8% in adults 25-54 (from 4.0/11), +7% in adults 18-49 (from 2.8/09) and added +1.39m viewers (from 11.08m, +13%).

At 9:30 PM, MOM was second in viewers (9.55m, -0.11m behind ABC), adults 25-54 (3.3/08) and adults 18-49 (2.2/06). Compared to the last week, MOM was up +10% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/08), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 2.1/06) and added +1.25m viewers (from 8.30m, +15%).

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (10.90m) and adults 25-54 (3.6/09), and tied for first with ABC in adults 18-49 (2.5/08).
