Nene Leakes to Return for Fifth Season of GLEE

Eonline reports that Nene Leakes will be returning to the upcoming fifth season of Fox's Glee as manipulative coach Roz Washington.

When last season ended, Coach Roz, who originally headed up McKinley High's synchronized swim team, had taken over the reins to coach the Cheerios cheerleading squad, originally led by Jane Lynch's Coach Sue.

No additional details were given as to when Leake's character will appear on the new season.

FOX recently announced that the fifth season will begin with a two-part Beatles-themed tribute, before moving on to the delicate subject of the passing of actor Cory Monteith in episode three. GLEE's new season will premiere on September 26th.

Nene Leakes recently starred on NBC's The New Normal, which was canceled after just one season. She also stars on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
