NBC has finished #1 in adults 18-49 and all other key demographics among the Big 4 networks for the primetime week of Oct. 13-19, with "Sunday Night Football," "The Voice," "The Blacklist," "Marry Me" and "Chicago Fire" all ranking among the top 30 primetime shows on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX for the week in 18-49. According to "live plus same day" viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research, NBC averaged a 2.6 rating, 8 share in adults 18-49 and 8.9 million viewers overall for the Oct. 13-19 week.
NBC has now won each of the season's opening four weeks in adults 18-49 and has also finished #1 or tied for #1 among the Big 4 networks for nine of the last 10 weeks. "Sunday Night Football" was the week's #1 primetime telecast on the Big 4 networks in every key measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers - and was #1 in teens 12-17 and tied for #1 with an ABC "Charlie Brown" special in kids 2-11. Note that CBS was boosted this week by Thursday NFL football, which itself was boosted by NFL Network viewership (1.1 rating in 18-49, 2.6 million viewers overall Thursday night) that was added into CBS's averages. Joining "SNF" among the week's top 35 programs in adults 18-49 on the Big 4 are Monday's "The Voice" (#5), Tuesday's "Voice" (tied for #7), Monday's "The Blacklist" (tied for #10), Tuesday's "Marry Me" premiere (tied for #22), Tuesday's "Chicago Fire" (tied for #27), Tuesday's "About a Boy" (tied for #31) and Wednesday's "Law & Order: SVU" (tied for #31).
