NBC Sports coverage of the "Sunday Night Football" game featuring the Dallas Cowboys at the New York Giants averaged a 16.5 rating, 26 share from 8:30-11:30 p.m. ET in household results from the 56 markets metered by Nielsen Media Research (not including digital data). NBC easily ranked #1 for the night in metered-market households and adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters.

It's the best NFL regular-season primetime rating in metered-market households, excluding Kickoff Weekends, since the 2013 Week 17 (16.8/28 on Dec. 29, 2013 for Eagles-Cowboys).

The 16.5 ties a 2010 Eagles-Cowboys game as the NFL's highest Week 14 primetime overnight in 19 years (since 1997, 17.3/27 for Packers-Vikings on ABC's "Monday Night Football").

Last night's Cowboys-Giants 16.5 rating in metered-market households is up +19% from Week 14 last year (13.9/22 for Patriots-Texans).

The household rating for Cowboys-Giants on NBC's "SNF" peaked at a 17.2/31 from 11-11:30 p.m. ET.

In the Dallas market, the 42.3 rating in local households is the best-ever for the Cowboys on NBC's "Sunday Night Football."

Top markets for Cowboys-Giants on NBC: Dallas 42.3/62; San Antonio 32.6/50; Austin 27.3/45; Albuquerque 25.9/38; Richmond 25.9/38; Norfolk 23.7/36; Memphis 22.1/31; New York 20.7/31; New Orleans 19.9/27; Houston 19.6/31.
