NBC's HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT Wins Time Slot

From 10-11 p.m. ET, "Hollywood Game Night" (1.2/4 in 18-49 3.9 million viewers overall) ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in the time period in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and other key demos. "Hollywood Game Night" finished within a tenth of a rating point of last week's preliminary 1.3 in these fast-affiliate ratings and within 0.2 of last week's 1.4 in official nationals.

"Hollywood Game Night" grew from half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 rating from a 1.2) and has generated half-hour growth with all three telecasts to date (two Thursday originals and a Tuesday encore). Last night's telecast also grew in adults 25-54 by 7% (1.6 vs. 1.5). In the 10:30 lead-in to local news, "Hollywood Game Night" delivered a 7% margin of victory among ABC, CBS and NBC in the key news demo of adults 25-54 (with a 1.6 rating vs. a 1.5 for ABC's second-place "Rookie Blue").

The 1.2 for "Hollywood Game Night" is the #2 rating so far this summer for the second week of a new reality series on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox, behind only NBC's "Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls" (1.3 in week two). "Get Out Alive" and "Hollywood Game Night" also generated the #1 and #2 week-one ratings for new reality series this summer on those networks.

At 9 p.m. ET, "The Winner Is..." (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.9 million viewers overall) is currently running within a tenth of a rating point of the preliminary 1.0 for last week's Thursday debut in these fast-affiliate ratings and within 0.2 of last week's 1.1 in official nationals. "The Winner Is..." grew from half-hour to half-hour in 18-49 rating (to a 0.9 from a 0.8) and has generated half-hour to half-hour growth with all four Thursday telecasts to date (two 9 p.m. originals and two 8 p.m. encores).

"The Winner Is..." grew from half-hour to half-hour in every key ratings category - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

From 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecasts of "The Winner Is..." (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.7 million viewers overall) matched last week's 18-49 rating in this slot and is up 4% week to week in total viewers (3.653 million vs. 3.502 million).

NBC's Thursday lineup held steady or grew in 18-49 rating during every half-hour of primetime, with this track: : 0.7, 0.8, 0.8, 0.9, 1.2, 1.3.


In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.6/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.1/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/5 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
