NBC Sports coverage of last night's New England Patriots-Houston Texans "Sunday Night Football" game averaged a 13.9 rating, 22 share in metered-market households from 8:30 to 11:15 p.m. ET, and the Patriots' 21-point victory won primetime in the metered markets.

The 13.9 matches last year's Week 14 "SNF" matchup (Patriots-Chargers) in the metered markets and is up +9% from 2013 (12.7/20 for Panthers-Saints).

The 13.9 is the best rating ever for an NBC "SNF" game featuring the Texans (five telecasts).

Top local ratings for the Patriots-Texans game on NBC were: Boston, 42.4/61; Providence, 34.6/50; Houston, 31.5/44; Hartford, 19.8/31; Las Vegas, 19.3/31; Richmond, 17.8/26; Albuquerque, 17.7/26; New Orleans, 17.5/25; West Palm Beach, 17.4/27; and Norfolk, 15.3/23.
