Deadline reports that NBC is developing a revamped version of the British 2013 Sky Living series 30 AND COUNTING, with writer Justin Adler (Better Off Ted), director John Hamburg (Meet the Parents) and producer Aaron Kaplan (The Neighbors).

30 AND COUNTING centers on three college friends who decide "their 30s is the decade that will define them" and set out to make the next 3,652 days count.

Warner Bros. TV is producing with Kapital Entertainment and Bwark Productions. Bwark produced the original series.

Hamburg and Kaplan are also currently working on the comedy The Henchman for Fox, with Hamburg also attached to Good Session at CBS.

Aside from Better Off Ted, Adler has also written for the TV series Less Than Perfect, Sons & Daughters and Big Day. Hamburg's writing credits include the Meet the Parents series, Along Came Polly and I Love You, Man -- he also directed the latter two. Kaplan's other producing credits include Back in the Game, The Inbetweeners, GCB and Terra Nova.
