NBC to Air 2013 Hilton HHonors Skate America, 10/20

NBC presents 2013 Hilton HHonors Skate America this Sunday at 4 p.m. ET featuring live performances from the ladies' free skate and coverage of the men's free skate. In addition, the telecast will include the performance of 2010 Vancouver Olympic silver medalists and two-time world ice dance champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White.

Highlighting the field for Team USA are two-time reigning U.S. champion and Grand Prix Final silver medalist Ashley Wagner and U.S. champion Max Aaron. The international field includes 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games silver medalist and two-time World champion Mao Asada of Japan and Vancouver Olympics bronze medalist and world champion Daisuke Takahashi, also of Japan.

COMMENTATORS: Tom Hammond will call the action alongside Scott Hamilton, Sandra Bezic, Tracy Wilson and Andrea Joyce from Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Mich.

Skate America is the first event of the 2013 International Skating Union (ISU) Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series. The Grand Prix Series, now in its 19th season, consists of six international events in a cumulative point-scoring format. Approximately 300 athletes from 30 countries are expected to participate in the series. The top six point-earners in each discipline qualify for the 2013 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, set for Dec. 5-8, in Fukuoka, Japan.
