NBC has won the primetime ratings week of July 18-24 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, total viewers and every other key measure, giving the network a fifth consecutive win among those nets in adults 18-49 (including a tie) and four wins in a row in total viewers, according to "live plus same day" figures from Nielsen Media Research.

The four-week winning streak in total viewers is NBC's longest, excluding Olympic weeks, in 14 years (since a seven-week streak in the spring of 2002 that extended from the week of April 29 to the week of June 10).

NBC's dominant week was led by the top 2 primetime shows of the week on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49 and total viewers, "America's Got Talent," which was joined in the adult 18-49 top 20 last week by "American Ninja Warrior," "Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge" and all four nights of NBC News coverage of the Republican National Convention.

"America's Got Talent" accounted for the week's top 2 primetime ratings on the Big 4 networks in 18-49, total viewers, adults, men and women 25-54, kids 2-11 and teens 12-17. Rankings among those shows in adults 18-49 were: Tuesday's and Wednesday's "Talent," tied for #1; Monday's "American Ninja Warrior," #5; Monday, Wednesday and Thursday Convention coverage, tied for #14, Tuesday's Convention coverage, #19 and Thursday's season finale of "Spartan," tied for #20.

NBC finished #1 for the week among the Big 4 in every key measure and equaled or improved on its results for the same week last year in all key categories.

Excluding ABC weeks during the NBA Playoffs, NBC is undefeated versus every Big 4 network every week so far this summer in adults 18-49.

Season to date, NBC is tied with Super Bowl-boosted CBS for #1 among adults 18-49 and is also tied for #1 in adults 18-34, men 18-34 and women 18-49.

NBC's total-viewer average of 7.662 million is the network's highest at this point in a season without a SUPER BOWL or Olympic boost since 2006-07 (8.236 million).

Primetime averages for the week of July 11-17 in adults 18-49 are: NBC, 1.2 rating, 5 share; ABC, 0.8/3; CBS, 0.8/3; Fox, 0.7/3; and CW, 0.2/1. In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: NBC, 5.1 million; CBS, 4.0 million; ABC, 3.8 million; Fox, 2.2 million; and CW, 0.9 million.
