NBC DEPORTES presents exclusively and simultaneously on TELEMUNDO, NBC UNIVERSO, the NBCDeportes.com digital platforms and NBC Deportes EN VIVO EXTRA mobile app, the second match of the Liga MX Torneo Apertura 2015 between León and Veracruz, live, this Saturday, August 1 at 9PM/8C/6P. The match will be narrated by the experienced sportscaster Copan Alvarez who will be complemented with the commentary of two of Mexico's soccer stars, three-time scoring champion, Carlos Hermosillo, and Guadalajara former player, Manuel Sol. Kaziro Aoyama will report directly on all that happens at field level in the Estadio León.

León and Veracruz come to this game with one thing in common: they each won their season- opening games. The escualos (sharks) showed up the Chivas to the tune of 2 goals to 0 and the Fiera walloped champion Santos in a 3-to-1 match in the latter's home field. Leon played an outstanding away-game in its visit to Torreon, Coahuila, where the emerald fans saw their favorite stars shine: Mauro Boselli who scored twice and Carlos Alberto "Gullit" Peña, who scored one goal. New team members for this season, who saw action in the inaugural game and who could end up in the future line-up to be put together by technical director Juan Antonio Pizzi, are Argentine defense Guillermo Burdisso, Mexican Efraín Velarde, American Miguel Ibarra, Ecuadorian Jonathan González and Colombian Darío Burbano, long-time familiar to Leon fans.

Guided by veteran Carlos Reinoso, Veracruz cleaned up its line-up, becoming the team with the most personnel losses before the season began; nonetheless, only three of its new members were called in to play against Chivas last Friday. Veracruz notably improved its percentages to pull back from the zone of descent, but its distance from last place Dorados is too close for comfort for the Veracruz squad, so it must play every game, whether home or away, to win.

The last time that León and Veracruz faced each other was in week 9 of Clausura 2015, with the sharks winning by 1 goal to 0. The last time they met on the Fiera's territory was on week 9 of Apertura 2014(opening tournament) when the emerald team won 3 to 1.
